| At Baxter, we focus on creating vineyard specific Pinot Noir from Northern California's best coastal appellations. Limited amounts of a few other varietals are produced as well. The father and son team of Phil Baxter Sr. and Phil Baxter Jr. pool over fifty years of combined experience to create wines of distinction and balance that tell the story of each unique vineyard site. We currently source fruit from vineyards in the Anderson Valley, Mendocino Ridge, Yorkville Highlands, Mendocino, Rutherford, and Oak Knoll appellations.
Baxter Winery is only open to the public for tasting by invitation, however our wines are available for tasting at local restaurants and wine bars. We produce wine from many different vineyards and varietals, therefore the wines offered by any individual establishment will vary. We encourage you to let us know when you are in the Anderson Valley / Mendocino Coast area, and we will do our best to accommodate your group.
